Marissa Spalding

Supervising Paralegal

Marissa Spalding has over a decade of experience in diverse practices of law, including civil rights, prisoner rights, employment and labor, mass torts, MDL, complex arbitration, family law, and insurance defense. She has taught at both elementary and college levels, most recently as faculty for the Paralegal Institute of Loyola University. Spalding holds a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing, an MFA in poetry, is CEDS certified, and has an ABA-approved paralegal certificate from Loyola University. She is based in NRDC's Chicago office.
