Mende Yangden

Senior Associate, Equity & Community Partnerships, Climate & Energy

As part of the National Policy team, Mende Yangden conducts technical and policy analyses, evaluates legislative and regulatory actions, and advocates for policies that address the intersection of transportation, equity, justice, environment, health, and the built environment. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and international affairs from Skidmore College and a master's in economics and South Asia studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Yangden is originally from Bhutan and is based in NRDC’s Washington D.C., office.
