Nicole Vandal

Nicole Vandal graduated from Amherst College with honors in environmental studies and political science. Prior to joining NRDC, Vandal worked with several scientific fieldwork teams, researching forest conservation in New Zealand and understanding salt marsh microplastic accumulation in Woods Hole, MA. She also completed a thesis on indigenous knowledge and the commodification of nature. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
