Sarah Buckley
Sarah Buckley has litigated cases in federal courts of appeal and district courts across the country, on issues including air pollution standards, water quality standards, toxic substances, drinking water standards, and wetlands protection. Prior to joining NRDC, Buckley served as a trial attorney and senior counsel for Appellate Matters at the U.S. Department of Justice Environment & Natural Resources Division. She has a bachelor’s degree and JD from the University of Virginia, where she was editor-in-chief of the Virginia Law Review. Buckley clerked for the Honorable Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and for the Honorable T.S. Ellis III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
