Pamela Rivera

Senior Advocate, E&CP, Environmental Health

Pamela Rivera works to strengthen partnerships with diverse stakeholders and pushes to broaden networks to achieve the best outcome. In her role as Southeastern regional and equity project lead for the Energy Efficiency for All project, she helps coordinate the regions efforts to link the energy and housing sectors in order to tap the benefits of energy efficiency for millions of low-income families. Before joining NRDC, Rivera did development and community outreach for the Salvation Army of Gainesville, Florida. She has worked for numerous campaigns in Florida, including the 2008 Obama campaign, Kosmas for Congress, and on Mayor Alvin Brown's successful campaign in Jacksonville. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's in political science in 2009 and has done graduate work in political science, with a focus on public policy and communications, at the University of Florida. She is based in NRDC's New York office.
