Andrew Wheeler Doesn’t Deserve Promotion at EPA

WASHINGTON – President Trump indicated today he intends to nominate Andrew Wheeler to become administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Wheeler has been acting administrator since former administrator Scott Pruitt resigned amid scandal.

Ana Unruh Cohen, managing director for government affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council, issued this statement:

“As acting administrator, Andrew Wheeler has pushed policies that would damage our health and environment. He doesn’t deserve a promotion.”
