Garett Rose works with a range of stakeholders, including scientists and local groups, to preserve Alaska's lands, waters, and wildlife through litigation, congressional advocacy, and participation in the administrative process. Prior to joining NRDC, Rose worked at a law firm in Washington, D.C., where he represented local conservation groups and scientists to restore the boundaries of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. He also clerked for the Honorable Frank H. Easterbrook of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Rose earned degrees from the University of Chicago. He is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
