Jared Thompson (he/him)

Managing Litigator

Jared Thompson has worked on cases to remediate toxic pollution in the Anacostia and Penobscot rivers, ensure safe drinking water for all, protect sensitive wetlands and public lands, and safeguard energy efficiency standards and funding. Prior to his current role, Thompson was a legal fellow at NRDC and worked as a litigation associate in private practice. He also clerked for a federal district court judge in Philadelphia. He holds a bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, a master's degree in environment and resources from Stanford University, and a JD from Stanford Law School. He is based in NRDC's New York office.
