Court rules in favor of cleaner fuel in California

SAN FRANCISCO (September 18, 2013) – The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled in favor of a policy that advances the adoption of cleaner fuels in California’s marketplace. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard will reduce carbon pollution while providing Californians with cleaner alternatives to oil. These pollution reductions contribute to goals outlined in AB32, the nation’s premier climate change law, which aims to reduce California’s carbon pollution to 1990 levels by the year 2020.
