NRDC Mourns the Passing of Cecil Corbin-Mark

NEW YORK – The passing of Cecil Corbin-Mark, environmental justice advocate and Deputy Director and Director of Policy Initiatives at WE ACT for Environmental Justice, is a huge loss for New York and the environmental movement.

“Cecil Corbin-Mark was a fierce and effective advocate for environmental justice, as well as a trusted partner and dear friend to many at NRDC. We are deeply saddened by his untimely passing and will miss his persistence, his sense of justice and his wonderful smile. Our hearts are with his family, friends and colleagues at WE ACT for Environmental Justice. We will honor his legacy by continuing to fight environmental racism and protect frontline communities in New York City and beyond.”
