NRDC Comments: Children’s Health Protection Advisory Cmte.

Two weeks ago, I blogged about the abrupt dismissal of the then-head of the EPA's Office of Children's Health Protection. Along with prominent pediatricians, I worried if the EPA was stepping backwards from its commitment to protect fetuses and children, who typically are more vulnerable to suffering health impacts from their early-in-life exposures to toxic chemicals.

We highlight the importance of the EPA's Office of Children’s Health Protection in protecting children, especially in the wake of the Trump attack on science, and the need for the Office to inform EPA’s selection of priority chemicals to be reviewed under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
