Jeremy Arling

Jeremy Arling works on the phasedown and management of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in the United States under the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act and globally under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol. Prior to joining NRDC, Arling worked for two decades at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency implementing the phaseout of ozone-depleting substances under the Clean Air Act and phasedown of HFCs under the AIM Act. He has also served as a member of the U.S. delegation to the Montreal Protocol. Arling is a lawyer by training and has a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law. He is based in Washington, D.C.
