Katie Hobbs works to defend bedrock environmental protections against legislative threats and advance proactive federal policy priorities that safeguard public health and the environment. She helps develop and implement NRDC's strategic engagement for wildlife, the Arctic, drinking water, toxics, adaptation, and environmental health. She also leads NRDC's work on the National Defense Authorization Act. Hobbs graduated from the University of San Francisco and has previously held positions at the U.S. Senate and the National Defense University. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
