Sangina Wright leads NRDC’s engagement and strategy to bolster and accelerate federal investments in clean energy innovation—the next-generation technologies needed to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide by mid-century. Before joining NRDC, Wright served as a professional staff member for the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, where she successfully developed and advanced federal energy policy to address climate challenge. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree from American University and is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
