Dr. Vyoma Jha

India Clean Energy Senior Advocate, International

Vyoma Jha leads the work on climate goals and global engagement, clean energy, and clean transportation for the India program. She began her career clerking at the Supreme Court of India and has worked at the intersection of international law and climate policy, leading programs and research related to how international rules drive countries, sub-national actors, and organizations towards mainstreaming climate action. Prior to joining NRDC, Jha received her doctorate degree in law and political economy from Stanford Law School, her master's degree in environmental law from New York University School of Law, and her bachelor's degree in law from National Law University, Jodhpur in India.
