Brendan Guy

Director, International Climate, International

Brendan Guy leads global strategy to enhance climate ambition from major emitters, primarily through the Paris Agreement and bilateral engagement. He also coordinates strategy to advance global conservation objectives. Guy has taught global climate policy at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government and American University’s School of International Service. He holds a master of environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment and a bachelor of science from the University of British Columbia. He is based in Washington, D.C.
