Gillian Giannetti
Gillian Giannetti focuses her advocacy on energy issues at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of Energy. She leads NRDC’s LNG and interstate gas pipeline work. Giannetti is a frequent panelist at conferences about energy issues and has testified before Congress about federal gas policy. She has served as the chair of the Energy Bar Association’s Electricity Steering Committee, as well as a senior reports editor for the Energy Law Journal. Prior to joining NRDC, she was an attorney at K&L Gates LLP and a Teach for America corps member in Reserve, Louisiana. Giannetti holds a bachelor's degree in political communication from George Washington University, an MBA from Louisiana Tech University, and a JD from the University of Virginia. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
