Trump Administration’s Anti-Regulatory Crusade Helps Polluters, Harms People

WASHINGTON -- The White House Office of Management and Budget today highlighted the Trump administration’s dangerous anti-regulatory crusade, but left many questions unanswered, in releasing a lengthy list of agency rules it is reviewing.

The following is a statement by Rhea Suh, president of the Natural Resources Defense Council:

“Make no mistake:  Trump's anti-regulatory crusade is designed to provide Wall Street, fossil fuel companies, industrial polluters and others with new tools to grind the wheels of public protections to a halt.  The administration is making it harder for individuals to hold corporations to account.”
