Coal-Fired Power Plant Hazardous Air Pollution Emissions and Pollution Control Data

This data inventories emissions of hazardous air pollution from coal-fired power plant units in the United States, along with the pollution controls installed at each unit in 2019. It is taken from data published by EPA CAMD and EIA’s boiler level database, and tracks emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter (PM), hydrochloric acid (HCl) and mercury (Hg), and specifies which type of particulate, sulfur/acid gases, and mercury controls each unit operates (if any).
