Alison Hahm (she/her)
Alison Hahm represents environmental justice organizations to address disproportionate pollution burden in communities of color and low-income communities. She also advocates for policies to advance an equitable freight and goods movement system. Before joining NRDC, Hahm served as staff attorney at Communities for a Better Environment's (CBE) Southern California office, representing the neighborhood of Wilmington, Los Angeles. During her time at CBE, Hahm worked in close partnership with CBE members and community-driven coalitions to end neighborhood oil drilling, while advocating for equitable land use decisions in communities throughout Los Angeles and beyond. Prior to CBE, Hahm was an NRDC Access to Nature legal and policy fellow at the Santa Monica office, where she focused on empowering and defending environmental justice communities through advocacy, parkland protection, and community-driven land use planning. Hahm is based in the Santa Monica office.
