Atid Kimelman

Koob Litigation Fellow

Prior to joining NRDC, Atid Kimelman clerked for Judge William J. Kayatta Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and Judge Maxine M. Chesney on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Kimelman holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Yale University and earned his JD magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he was a public interest law fellow and received the school’s highest recognition for his pro bono service. Kimelman also served as a student attorney in the Center for Applied Legal Studies (Georgetown’s asylum clinic) and interned with Our Children’s Trust, the Sierra Club, and the Office of Senator Edward J. Markey. He is based in NRDC’s San Francisco office.
