Samantha Henningson

Samantha Henningson advocates for transportation options that are affordable, equitable, low-carbon, and maybe even joyful. Previously, in Saint Paul, MN, Henningson managed the EV Spot Network program—the nation’s first renewably-powered, municipally-owned carshare and curbside public charging network. Prior to that, she worked with the Saint Paul City Council for a decade, which included light rail and bicycle network planning, pedestrian safety advocacy, and Safe Routes to School. Henningson holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's in education with a focus on policy. She is based in NRDC's Chicago office.
