Shruti Vaidyanathan (she/her)

Shruti Vaidyanathan has more than 15 years of experience in the transportation sector. She is committed to creating equitable, low-carbon transportation systems by advocating for policy approaches at the federal, state, and local levels that combine vehicle electrification with passenger and freight mobility solutions. Before joining NRDC, Vaidyanathan was the Transportation Program director for the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). She holds a master of science in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of arts in economics and environmental studies from Grinnell College. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
