Christina Theodoridi is involved in NRDC’s work on the synthetic chemicals regulated under the Montreal Protocol (CFCs & HFCs). She engages with the HVACR industry and relevant stakeholders in promoting state action on HFCs. A member of a Montreal Protocol task force, she is also investigating unexpected emissions of CFC-11, an ozone depleting substance banned under the treaty a decade ago. Theodoridi holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Patras, Greece and an M.P.A. in environmental science and policy from Columbia University. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
