Christina Theodoridi leads NRDC’s heavy industry team, advancing federal and state policies for the cement, steel, aluminum, and hydrogen industries that support cleaner plants, good jobs, climate action, and public health. Previously, she advocated for legislation and regulations to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which are potent climate pollutants. At NRDC, she has represented the organization at the Montreal Protocol and served on a global expert task force. Theodoridi holds a master’s in chemical engineering from the University of Patras (Greece) and a master of public administration in environmental science and policy from Columbia University. She is based in Washington, D.C.
