Program Assistant, Climate & Clean Energy Program
Gabrielle Habeeb supports efforts to cut harmful emissions and promote clean energy in the Midwest, in ways that center equity and climate justice. She is particularly interested in natural climate solutions and the ways equitably managing natural resources for climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience can compliment clean energy policies. Habeeb holds a bachelor’s of science degree in environmental science from Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Environmental Sustainability and is currently pursuing a master’s of natural resources from Oregon State University’s College of Forestry. She is based in NRDC’s Chicago office.
