Rebecca Ramirez

Yale Environmental Law Fellow, Nature Program

Rebecca Ramirez protects the health of our ocean and coasts by preventing dirty offshore oil and gas development and combating illegal fishing practices. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked at the Environmental Law Institute, Earthjustice, and NOAA. Ramirez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a master of professional science degree from the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science, and a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, where she worked as a student attorney in the Human Rights Clinic and served on the Inter-American Law Review. She is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
