Julia de Lamare

Julia de Lamare works on advancing clean energy policy in California. She focuses on policy design related to the state's carbon-reduction goals, strategies to incentivize investment in renewable energy, low-income communities' access to renewable resources, and affordable clean energy. She holds a bachelor of laws (LL.B – J.D. equivalent) and a master's degree in law and regulation from FGV Direito Rio (Brazil), a professional degree in environmental science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and a master of laws (LL.M) in environmental law and policy from Stanford Law School. She is based in NRDC's San Francisco office.
