Marc Boom

Boom works to strategically engage Congress and the administration in NRDC’s efforts to defend and expand critical environmental laws and policies. Prior to his current role, he served as director of advocacy for Environmental Entrepreneurs, an affiliate organization of NRDC that engages business leaders on environmental issues. Before joining NRDC, Boom served as the principal advisor for energy and environmental issues in the office of Congressman Patrick Murphy (PA-08) and ran the campaign of Paul Lang for state Senate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from George Washington University. He is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
