Mikyla Reta

Community Solutions Advisor, People & Communities Program

Mikyla Reta works with local and national partners in the Strong Prosperous and Resilient Communities Challenge (SPARCC) initiative to accelerate community-led projects and policies that prioritize racial equity, build a culture of health, and respond to our climate crisis. She also focuses on federal policy and national strategies that create just solutions for environmental and climate crises. Previously, she worked for the Center for American Progress and the U.S. House of Representatives. Reta received her bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
