Senior Attorney, Climate & Clean Energy Program
Alex Jackson focuses on strengthening climate law and policy in California, with much of his time spent defending and implementing clean energy programs developed under California’s Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. He also advocates for statewide strategies to improve energy efficiency in front of the state’s Public Utilities Commission, Air Resources Board, and legislature. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy, history, and government from Cornell University and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley. He is based in San Francisco.
