Senior Strategic Advisor, Climate & Clean Energy Program
Dale Bryk helps leverage the wide variety of skills and expertise that NRDC brings to our climate and energy work. She previously served as chief planning officer, where she worked to create and institutionalize a strategic, transparent, and integrated approach to planning and performance metrics. She also served as director of programs, where she oversaw all of NRDC's advocacy work under the various program umbrellas within NRDC, capitalizing on the organization's talents to bring transformative change to improve the environment and people's quality of life. From 2010 to 2014, she was the director of NRDC's Energy & Transportation program, where she worked to improve energy efficiency in buildings and appliances, commercialize renewable energy technologies, increase vehicle efficiency, and drive investment in low-carbon fuels. Prior to that, Bryk oversaw NRDC's climate work at the state level, including the development of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Before joining NRDC, she practiced corporate law in New York and taught an environmental law clinic at Yale Law School. She holds a bachelor's degree from Colgate University, a master's from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is based in New York City.
