Kaitlin Morrison joined NRDC in 2017, and her practice focuses on protecting communities from harmful chemical spills, holding corporate polluters accountable, and enforcing federal clean water and pesticide laws. Prior to joining NRDC, Morrison clerked for Judge Gerard Lynch on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Denise Cote on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She recently became the director of the New York City Environmental Law Leadership Institute, a nonprofit that provides junior environmental attorneys opportunities to engage with experienced practitioners and develop projects to address the city's unique environmental challenges. Morrison holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and women studies from the University of Washington and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was an essays & reviews editor for the Columbia Law Review. She is based in NRDC's New York office.
