Marisa Guerrero supports efforts to fight fossil fuel infrastructure, protect drinking water, and advocate for communities. Prior to joining NRDC, Guerrero worked at the City Bar Justice Center, the non-profit arm of the New York City Bar Association, where she facilitated a pro bono legal services model, connecting low-income clients with volunteer lawyers on issues including probate, estates, and foreclosure prevention. Guerrero holds a bachelor’s degree in American studies and hispanic literature from Wesleyan University, where she spent time abroad living in Mexico and Ecuador. She is based in NRDC’s New York office.
