Director, Northern Rockies office
Working out of an office that’s less than 80 miles from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Matt Skoglund manages NRDC’s Northern Rockies office, leads the organization’s wild-bison conservation efforts, and helps guide the direction of NRDC’s wildlife work in the West. Prior to joining NRDC, he served as a law clerk for a federal magistrate judge and later worked in the litigation group of a large Chicago law firm. He graduated from Middlebury College and the University of Illinois College of Law. He is based in Bozeman, Montana.
