Mekela Panditharatne

Mekela focuses her legal advocacy on a variety of issues, including protecting environmental and health safeguards for communities, and safe drinking water for vulnerable populations. She represents clients in civil litigation and works on federal and state policy. Mekela holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was an editor on the Yale Journal of Regulation. She is based in NRDC's Washington, D.C., office.
