Sasha Forbes provides capacity-building and technical assistance to communities focused on equity, inclusion, and sustainable community-building strategies. She collaborates with local and national partners on initiatives that aim to provide people and communities with quality multimodal transportation, affordable housing, healthy foods, jobs, and overall climate-smart solutions. Prior to joining NRDC, Forbes worked for Reconnecting America, where she focused on federal, state, and local policy that integrates land use, transportation, and housing. Forbes holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Florida. She is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C., office.
