Aaron Colangelo has served as lead counsel in several dozen cases for NRDC, including lawsuits related to coastal water quality, migrant farmworker health, drinking water contamination, food safety, hazardous waste cleanup, and endangered species protections. Prior to joining NRDC, he practiced at a private law firm and a nonprofit legal services clinic in Washington, D.C. He also taught as an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law for three years. Colangelo graduated from Penn State University and Harvard Law School, where he was an editor on the Harvard Law Review. He is based in NRDC’s Washington, D.C. office.
